IANA ZEMNIAKOVA, CPA, MBA, MAc
Founder & Instructor
Iana Zemniakova was born in Russia and grew up in Germany and Belarus. Iana received her degree in law from the Academy of Business Administration. After graduation, she passed the Bar exam and worked as an attorney for several years in Minsk, Belarus, until she moved to California.
Accounting & Finance is Iana's second career and she enjoys it very much. She took many accounting and tax classes from Foothill College and SFSU to pass the CPA exam. She then ended up taking the Master of Accountancy and MBA with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Operations & Supply Chain Management at Golden Gate University. Iana has been teaching at AMSA and GGU for over 10 years, and she enjoys it tremendously.

Iana resides and works in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay). She is currently employed as Chief Financial Officer of RGB Spectrum, a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge videographic products for audio-visual, industrial, medical, and military applications. Iana has over 20 years of experience; most recent include CFO, VP of Finance, Senior Director of Finance, and Corporate Controller.
Iana is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor®. She is a member of CalCPA, and Accounting & Finance Women's Alliance (AFWA). Iana served as CalCPA Committee Chair, QuickBooks Users Group for 2 years. Iana is on the board of directors of AFWA, East Bay Chapter, and also serves as its VP and Treasurer.
